Les Mouettes is a simple family-run guesthouse set directly on Lorient beach on the north coast. The airport transfer is a short ride east through St-Jean and Lorient.

From SBH, the taxi ride to Les Mouettes runs about 8 minutes. The standard fare before midnight is around 50 euros. Add 20 euros for late-night arrivals after midnight. We always recommend pre-booking for arrivals into Les Mouettes during high season — drivers fill up fast in December and around the holidays.

On Sundays the road is quieter. Fewer drivers work. We plan dinner timing accordingly when we do not have a rental car.
